How it works.
From installation to broadcasting in under three minutes.
Install the extension
During our current test phase, Veylo is installed manually via Developer Mode in Chrome or Edge.
- Unzip the downloaded package.
- Go to
chrome://extensions(oredge://extensions). - Toggle "Developer mode" on.
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder.
- Pin the Veylo icon to your browser toolbar for easy access.
Create or join a group
Veylo is designed for teams. You need to be in a group to send or receive broadcasts.
For Admins
Click "+ New group" to generate an invite code. Share this code with your team. As people join, you must approve them before they can see or send messages.
For Members
Enter the invite code provided by your admin. Wait for approval to enter the active broadcast channel.
Craft your signal
Click the pinned Veylo extension to open the composer. Draft your message and style it to fit the vibe.
- Type: Write short shouts or format longer paragraphs.
- Style: Pick a bold color and a matching font (Grotesk for alerts, Display for impact, Hand for casual notes).
- Timing: Set the duration (5, 10, 15, or 20 seconds).
- Preview: Hit "Preview" to see exactly how it will animate on your own screen without sending it to the group. Your draft and settings are saved automatically.
Broadcast
When you're ready, hit Broadcast. In the current test build, your message animates over eligible open tabs in the same browser, stays for the duration you chose, and quietly vanishes. Delivery to other people and computers will require the future hosted group service.
