From installation to broadcasting in under three minutes.
Install the extension
Click here to go to the Chrome Web Store and install Veylo, then continue below to create or join your first group.
- Install Veylo from the Chrome Web Store.
- Pin the Veylo icon to your browser toolbar for easy access.
- Open the extension whenever you want to send a visual signal.
Create or join a group
Veylo is designed for teams. You need to be in a group to send or receive broadcasts.
For Admins
Click "+ New group" to generate an invite code. Share only that short code. Administrators can approve or deny join requests, promote another member to administrator, and remove members.
For Members
Enter the invite code provided by an administrator. Wait for approval to enter the group. You can leave the group later from the Members tab.
Craft your signal
Click the pen icon on the Veylo extension to open the composer. Draft your message and style it to fit the vibe.
- Type: Write short shouts or formal long phrases.
- Style: Choose from six focused colors and four fonts, all visible at once without a slider.
- Readability: The selected color becomes a translucent, blurred panel and Veylo automatically chooses contrasting text for the recipient's webpage.
- Timing: Set the duration (5, 10, 15, or 20 seconds).
- Preview: Hit "Preview" to see exactly how it will animate on your own screen without sending it to the group. Your draft and settings are saved automatically.
Need quiet time? Pause notifications for five hours. Veylo automatically resumes signals and adds a reminder badge when the pause ends.
Broadcast
When you're ready, hit Broadcast. Your message animates over the active tabs of everyone in your group, stays for the duration you chose, and quietly vanishes.
